The Storyteller in Residence Program is an opportunity for creators from a wide range of digital disciplines to live and work from our sustainable luxury hotels and lodges for 8-14 days.
In the spirit of this year’s theme, “Food with Philosophy”, we focus on the simple rituals that bring people together, the local tastes that define a culture, and the re-imagining of how food even ends up on our plates.
The 2017 Storyteller in Residence Program is ideal for you if:
• You’re a professional food entrepreneur, home cook, eco chef, food author, or digital creator focused on all things food; have formal training or equivalent experience and recognition among your peers
• You’re focused on connecting your professional work to the sustainability movement
• You’re interested in exploring the challenges and rewards of sustainable eating
During your residency, you’re provided with accommodation and meals, hotel-operated adventures and tours related to your project, a dedicated Cayuga host, and behind-the-scenes access to our operations, staff, wildlife guides, and community projects.
We’re seeking applications for residencies starting June 2017 until the end of the year for a duration of 8 to 14 days.
Residencies may take place in remote rainforest areas and small coastal communities. To minimize the impact and carbon footprint in these communities, we’ll select a limited number of residencies in 2017.
If you’re selected, you’ll be responsible for acquiring the necessary visa if travelling from a foreign country.
The Cayuga Collection is a group of award-winning sustainable luxury hotels and ecolodges in Costa Rica and Nicaragua, each with a deep commitment to preserve the communities and ecosystems in which they operate.
